	Quite - indeed, it's necessary to work with both evo 2.0 and 2.2
tragically.

	So - basically, Jayant - all that needs doing is to add some
makefile.mk conditionals and a configure switch here.

	Frank - shall I commit what we have now to a cws ? and add the
conditionals there ? do you have other comments / problems ?
