[Evolution-hackers] other im in addressbook contacts

hi
right now im information in evolution's addressbook is limited to just
a few (jabber, yahoo, msn etc) and this is hardcoded.
i wanted some some addressbook - im client integration and this is
done in gaim but only for a few protocols, those present in evolution.
how would it be possible to make the im entries more generic.
