[Evolution-hackers] Problem building CVS

Hello list,

I have trouble compiling Evolution CVS.


% ./configure
[...]
checking for GTKHTML_CFLAGS...
checking for GTKHTML_LIBS...
configure: error: Package requirements (libgtkhtml-3.8) were not met.
[...]

* If I set the variables manually, I get problems with the next test,
which fails to find GIT.

% pkg-config libgtkhtml-3.6 --modversion
3.6.2
% pkg-config gnome-icon-theme --modversion
2.10.1
% echo $PKG_CONFIG_PATH
:/opt/gnome/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/kde/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/mozilla/lib/pkgconfig:
/opt/qt/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/gnome/lib/pkgconfig:
/opt/kde/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/mozilla/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/qt/lib/pkgconfig:
/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig

The .pc files are in /opt/gnome/lib/pkgconfig.

* config.log doesn't give much interesting additional info.
* 2.2.3 builds fine.
