No problem. It only limits the number of chars per IMAP command line.
Evo will simply split commands above 256 chars.I have mailboxes with
over 10000 messages which work very well with this patch (and not at all
without).

And the number of the message may be unrelated to the mailbox count.
Just look in Evo's upper right corner (XX new, XX selected, XX total).=20
