might be related to the already-existing autogen signatures? anyways it
is no longer growing for me...
as far as gconf-editor:
- run the program called "gconf-editor"
- navigate to /apps/evolution/mail in the left-hand side
- on the right-hand side, select the "signatures" entry
- right-click and select "Edit key..."
- select an "autogenerated" signature
- click "Remove"
- lather, rinse, repeat
