I've been using evolution 2.0.2 (the one that comes with FC3) for a
while now, and I'm liking it. It's very nice.
But there's one thing I miss quite a lot from the 1.x days.
Evo 2 doesn't seem to remember my cursor (highlighted bar) position when
I leave and come back to a folder.
I have some pretty -=3DHUGE=3D- folders, and it's really nice if the cursor
just jumps right back to where I left off.
I actually used to get a lot of good mileage out of evo 1.x, by having
two views of the same inbox folder: one for reading chronologically, and
one for looking up whatever I need to get info on -right-now-, for a
phone call or whatever.
I did this, by having a virtual folder that included any message from my
inbox folder that either had an a in the subject -or- didn't have an a
in the subject. Naturally, one of these has to be true, so the virtual
folder is just an identical copy of my inbox, but with a different
cursor position...
Any chance this functionality will resurface sometime in evo 2.x?
Thanks!
