[Evolution] attachments/mime problems after upgrade to 2.0.2

hi all,

yesterday (i know i was late ;-) i took the opportunity to upgrade from 1.4.6 to 2.0.2.
went fine, with no errors. but now i can't open attachments no more. evo only offers
me to save the files, allthough in the message view, they are correctly interpreted, f.e.

Microsoft PowerPoint presentation attachment (2005.ppt), "2005.ppt"

same happens to pdf, jpg, etc.

when i try to change the association in gnome-control-center, it says :
(gnome-file-types-properties:12278): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Deprecated function.  User modifications to the MIME database are no longer supported.

i googled around the world, with no success.

please share a light on this.I don't know where to change.
