[Evolution] [1.5.4] Contact Birthdays in Calendar?

A while ago somebody told me that the hackers work on auto-integration
of contact data (Birthday) into calendar.

Now, I do have an "Birthdays & Anniversaries" Entry in the list of
available calendars and it is turned on.

but I do not see the Birthdays that I have added to the contacts in the
calendar.

Suppose this is still work in progress?
