[Evolution] POP Mail is never removed from server.

I have Evolution 1.4.4 installed on a dell running on Mandrake 9.2. I
have set up one pop account and have set the account to NOT leave
messages on the server, however the old messages are never deleted off
the server. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
