[Evolution] About "hide read messages"

Hi folks,

I have a simple enough "how to" question: I find myself constantly doing
"View > Hide Read Messages" (or Alt-V R) so that I only see unread
messages in a folder. Is there a way to make this the default behavior?

Is there a way to do this on a folder-specific basis?

Apologies if this is a FAQ, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
