[Evolution] [2.0.1] IMAP not working

I have a gentoo box (everything gets compiled from source)

after updating to evo-2.0.1 using the gentoo-ebuild the application does
no IMAP anymore. The option for IMAP accounts are all there but it does
nothing, i.e. new Account, type IMAP, check supported authentication ->
no network activity at all. Same when I try to read existing accounts.

how can I figure out what's wrong? 

I downgraded to 2.0.0 and this is working fine again (even against the
newer gal/ghtml/eds)


Any ideas?
