[Evolution] Debian hang on 1.4->2.0.2 upgrade

I've attempted the upgrade from 1.4 several times since 1.5 made it to
experimental, but the migration process always hangs at this point:

Shell window:  addressbook_migrate (1.4.0)
Progress bar:  Migrating `Directories'

Can I ever get beyond this point (my entire email archive has already
been migrated and I don't really care about my addressbook) or should I
revert to 1.4, again? Is there a GConf edit I can make to straighten
this out? Can I install from scratch and move the pre-migrated mail
folders later?
