[Evolution] Automatically checking POP accounts

Although my main account is IMAP I also have a POP account. I've set Evo
to "automatically check for new mail every 10 minutes", but it will
never do it the first time, i.e. I can open a new Evo session and use it
for hours without Evo once checking the POP account. However if I check
it manually (using Send/Receive) it will continue to check periodically
from then on.

The IMAP account has no problem, maybe because it checks for new mail
when starting.

Is this intentional behaviour or a bug?
