[Evolution] Can't open addressbook with Evo 2.0.0 and Gnome 2.8.0

I'm unable to open my addressbook in Evolution 2.0.0.  I have Gnome
2.8.0 installed on SUSE 9.1.  I'm getting a message saying that I can't
access the file and to check my permissions and that the path is defined
correctly (both appear to be correct).  I had seen mention in
researching this on the list and other places of this issue occuring and
being traced to AMD architecture, but I'm using Intel.  Is this a bug or
is there something I can troubleshoot further to get this working?  I'd
really like to be able to add/import contacts for use in Evolution.
