[Evolution] Evolution + Cyrus - Messages not amrked as read

I'm using Evolution to access my Cyrus IMAP server.

I'm noticing that evolution doesn't seem to be indicating to the mail
server that the message has been read, so while evolution will
indicate that there are no unread messages in my inbox,
mailcheck-applet in gnome thinks there are and if I log on via webmail
sure enough my messages are still flagged as unread.

Has anyone else come across this or know of a solution?
