[Evolution] background email filtering

Well, not very easily:
1. You could setup a script which ran the dummy X server, Xvfb,
then run up an evolution instance running in that which checked
the mail.
2. You could write a script/program which talked to the mail
component via CORBA. Activated it, and then called
sendAndReceive on it. That would probably still need a (dummy)
X server.
So, in theory it is possible, although it isn't very simple and perhaps
not entirely what you're after. I guess you can't just leave evo
running overnight?
