[Evolution] Is it possble to start reading current email before all the headers are downloaded ?

Personal preference.

By using cron to execute a shell script to run fetchmail, I'm able
to do:
   if [ -e /tmp/.backup.LOCK ]; then exit 0; fi

Thus, one can "pause" fetchmail without having to use su or sudo
to stop the daemon.
