sounds like there is something wrong in your gnome settings, e.g. a path
isn't set right. if it is set right, perhaps you have to make sure that
its location (e.g. /usr/local/mozilla) is also in your $path.

*if* it's an evolution problem, please tell us which browser and which
evolution version (and which gnome version), since it depends on that -
or check the archives... ;-)
