[Evolution] Copy contact info

Is there a simple one step way to copy the text of a contact and past
the text in an email or any other document?  That is without all of the
field label/control codes.

Also, is there a way to turn on the alphabet tabs in the contacts
listing that had been there in the older Evolution version?  I really
miss that.
