I think you're confused. There was never a systray quickstarter for KDE
that I'm aware of. You're prolly thinking of some other / existing
kicker quick-starter applet I imagine.

Well - of course, the systray spec is (at least in theory) a
cross-desktop spec. although I believe there have traditionally still
been a few problems there. I guess it's just a matter of someone
actually wanting to do the testing work, and then no-matter what you do
a pile of people will moan about dependencies - even if they improve
performance :-)
