The KDE applet is in the package OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter. It is quite
hacked the older OOo quickstarter from
http://segfaultskde.berlios.de/index.php?content=oooqs.

It would be great to replace it by the new OOo Quickstarter 2 from
http://segfaultskde.berlios.de/index.php?content=oooqs2. Though, it was
released few days ago and it was too late for SL 10.1/NLD10. It would be
necessary to add more localizations and maybe even some fixes.

I think that the best solution would be to test/fix the new Michael's
quickstarter to be usable even with KDE and drop the extrenal KDE applet at
all.
