It's the point b) which I'm not able to achieve, so I was wondering
what's wrong in my setup.
Anyway also the ooo-wrapper will call ooqstart.

yes, but I need to find how/some help. I'll post maybe something
other, as I've also a few other things I was planning
to add in the wrapper which maybe should go in the core as you said.

Dear Michael I'm not against ooqstart. I've not said it's bad, but
I would like only learn about it, e.g. what is its right "behaviour"
and the right "performance improvement" achieved/achievable or for instance how
to customize the progress bar on it, also find why other people obtain
a huge improvement, like starting below 1 seconds (0.7s) on a notebook
while to me it's 3 times slower with a faster CPU and RAID disks (i.e.
whether I've something wrong in my setup, or people not measured
it correctly, etc.)
Indeed I'm also pretty confused also between ooqstart
and oooqs and oooqs2..., so every clarification you can tell us
about it on the ML would be appreciated very much I think.
Thanks.
Bye
Giuseppe.
