I can provide a reason.
I am the owner / donor that is paying for the hosting and the domain
name. I no longer use Mono due to the fact that I can't seem to do
the right thing when it comes to working with Lupus. At this point,
I view Mono on OS X as a bastard step child that is pretty on the
list of "supported" platforms, but the core developers either wish
would go away, or that we would just be happy with the half-
implemented features and go away. Mono on OS X will *never* be a
peer to Mono on Linux with the current direction and execution.
Until they learn that when someone is trying to solve a problem by
submitting a patch, only to be given a gruff STFU, and be told to
'file a bug' (which when you ask about it getting fixed you are then
told to 'submit a patch'), they won't retain contributors.
So you want a reason? $10 / month in hosting from a guy that's
pissed off at the piss poor handling of potential contributors by the
Mono team. If you want to move it, feel free it won't hurt my
feelings one bit.
