The Mono.TextEditor project/assembly intentionally has no MD
assemblies, so that it can be used in other programs. If you need
anything more than that, it'll be trickier.

Yes, what Christian and Sandy said is broadly correct, and the
Mono.TextEditor files should all be MIT/X11.
