[MonoDevelop] Mac OSX MonoDevelop 2.6 crashes at startup

Can you install the latest MonoDevelop release, MonoDevelop 2.8.2. There
was an issue where we were unconditionally calling a cocoa function which
did not exist on older versions of MacOS which caused MonoDevelop to fail
to start. This could be what you are experiencing.
